A petition has been started for Cincinnati to be dubbed “the Harambes” to honor the gorilla, which went after a child who fell into Harambe’s enclosure.

“The Cleveland Browns named their team after a former coach who made a great impact on their city, so why can’t the Bengals do it as well in honor of a hero who made an impact on their city too,” the petition states (warning: some wording NSFW).
The petition had 7,486 signatures as of Monday morning, just 14 shy of its goal of 7,500.
