And then, right when everyone’s tired of talking and just wants to play some games, darn it, Batman: Arkham Knight swoops in to save the day. Confusing and exploitative pre-order bonuses aside, the conclusion to Rocksteady’s epic Arkham franchise is poised to be June’s biggest release - at least for people who’ve already finished The Witcher 3. That game takes forever, doesn’t it?

It’s also a pretty big month for online-focused titles, too. Blizzard’s new-player-friendly and fan-service-heavy MOBA Heroes of the Storm is available… well, right now, while Final Fantasy XIV’s first major expansion, Heavensward, and The Elder Scrolls Online’s console port both arrive later this month.

July is looking pretty sparse  - just God of War III Remastered and Godzilla on the calendar so far - but Steam’s summer sale hits in just a few days, too. Next month many not offer a lot in the way of new releases, but fans certainly won’t be hurting for things to play.
