The 29-year-old The Flash actor has been no stranger to negative headlines in the past few weeks. Officials arrested Miller in March on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment stemming from their actions while in attendance at a bar in Hilo, Hawaii. The actor allegedly yelled obscenities while harassing the venue’s patrons. Miller was able to pay the $500 bail to obtain release but was hit with a temporary restraining order days later for allegedly entering a couple’s bedroom and threatening them.

Tuesday, however, the avalanche of negative headlines involving the actor added another notch to its belt. Per the Hawaii Police Department, officials arrested Miller for second-degree assault after responding to a call from a private residence in the Leilani Estates subdivision. After being asked to leave the residence, The Flash leading star allegedly became irate and reportedly threw a chair, striking a young woman. The heinous action resulted in half-inch cut across the young woman’s forehead.

Officials released Miller from custody pending further investigation of the incident, which is currently active according to the Hawaii Police Department. Unfortunately, The Flash star is heading down an unsavory beaten path and may suffer severe consequences if the indicated actions result in future jail time. As a result, Warner Bros. has already paused future projects involving Miller, placing the highly anticipated solo film for The Flash in cinematic limbo for the time being.

Miller has failed to comment on any of their recent actions, which doesn’t help to calm the consistently brewing storm. The merger between Warner Bros. and Discovery looks to revamp the landscape of the DC universe, providing space to move away from Miller as the face of one of its most iconic characters. It’s unclear what direction the studio will take regarding the 29-year-old star, but if removed it would be an unspeakable collapse. Miller most recently appeared in the third installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise but was absent from the promotional rollouts before the film’s release.

At the moment, charges have not surfaced for Miller regarding the assault on the young woman, but circumstances could change as the investigation details become more apparent to officials. It’ll be interesting to see what path Warner Bros. decides to take based on the recent news involving The Flash star, but it’s evident that their tolerance is dwindling as the incidents continue to pile up. Miller looked to be an integral part of Warner Bros. plans regarding the DC universe moving forward, and now it seems as if the studio may need to move forward without them.

The Flash is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 23, 2023.
